Note generation. Recording and transcription run on your Mac and cost nothing to operate, so they are free on every plan. Writing the notes takes a language model: on Free you bring one — a local model running on your Mac, or your own Anthropic or OpenAI key. On Pro and Team we run one for you instead, and you can still switch to yours whenever you prefer.
Pro is $15 a month billed yearly instead of $19 monthly — $180 a year, saving $48 (21%). Team is $29 per user a month instead of $39, saving $120 per user a year (26%). Free costs nothing either way.
Free covers recording, on-device transcription, speaker attribution, notes from a local model or your own API key, share links, and the listenr CLI with its local MCP server. Pro adds notes from a model we host, so there is no key and nothing to download, plus sending notes to Notion and the hosted MCP connector that lets claude.ai and ChatGPT read your cloud library. Everything on Free stays available on Pro — the hosted model is an option, not a replacement.
Yes, any time — your receipt links to a billing portal where you can cancel or update payment details, and there is nothing to email us about. The app keeps working on the Free plan afterwards, and your meeting library is on your own Mac, so nothing is held hostage.
